Terms of Use
Last updated 2 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and BRIGHTLEAP INC, a Delaware corporation, 64 E. Broadway Road, Suite 200, Tempe, AZ 85282, United States ("we", "us"), for the Purrsuit mobile application and this website (together, "Purrsuit"). By creating an account or using Purrsuit you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.
Purrsuit is not veterinary advice
Purrsuit helps you observe, record and organise. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and nothing in it is a substitute for a licensed veterinarian. Wellness scores, trends, AI summaries and course content are general information only. If your cat is unwell or you are worried, contact a vet. Never delay veterinary care because of something this app showed you.
AI-generated content can be inaccurate. Treat it as a prompt to ask better questions, not as an answer.
Your account
- You must be at least 13, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. Do not share access with others.
- Give us an email address you actually control — it is how we reach you and how account recovery works.
Subscriptions
Purrsuit's content requires a paid subscription, purchased through Apple's App Store. Prices, renewal, trials and cancellation are set out in the Subscription Terms, which form part of this agreement.
What you may and may not do
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Purrsuit for your own cats. You may not:
- copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the content — the courses, lessons, images and training material are ours;
- reverse-engineer the app, or attempt to access parts of our systems you were not given access to;
- use automated means to scrape or bulk-download content;
- upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload;
- use Purrsuit to give veterinary advice to other people as though it were professional advice.
Your content
What you put into Purrsuit — your cat's profile, your notes, your photos — stays yours. You give us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store it, process it, and show it back to you, including sending the relevant parts to our AI provider to generate the summaries and answers you asked for. We do not use your content to advertise to you, and we do not sell it.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of Purrsuit. If we discontinue a paid feature outright, and you paid for a period that has not run out, you may ask us for a pro-rata refund of that period at support@purrsuit.cat. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and some functionality depends on third parties (Apple, our hosting and AI providers) being available.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time: delete your account in Profile → Settings → Delete account. That deletion is immediate and permanent, and it does not cancel your Apple subscription — cancel that separately in your device's Settings.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or that we are required to terminate by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purrsuit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app's assessments are correct or that it will detect any particular condition in your cat.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or veterinary costs. Our total liability for any claim relating to Purrsuit is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Apple
Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no obligation to provide support for Purrsuit. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. If the app fails to conform to any warranty Apple must give, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation in relation to Purrsuit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Purrsuit after that means you accept the new terms.
